There are heroes all around us. To prove it, Bridgestone/Firestone created the Firestone 100 Who Serve Awards to honor the company's centennial year. More than 700 people from across America were nominated by their friends and family members to receive this award. Judges reviewed these nominations, looking for the spirit of service to others that has been a hallmark of the company founded by Harvey Firestone in 1900.

These three top winners will each receive round trip tickets for two to the 2001 Indy 500™ in Indianapolis – where they'll see all the cars racing on Firestone tires. The almost 45,000 men and women of Bridgestone/Firestone are proud to recognize these outstanding 100 Who Serve Awards winners!
